Over the past 30 years, Higherlife Foundation has supported more than 400,000 learners -from early childhood to doctoral studies. Through targeted scholarships, digital learning, and leadership development, we expand access, promote equity, and strengthen outcomes across every stage of learning.

Learning
Early childhood is where transformation begins. These formative years shape everything that follows, and we are committed to giving every child the best possible start.
We train early childhood educators in practical literacy and numeracy skills, equipping them to create nurturing, engaging classrooms. We also provide ECD centres with Simba Education’s Growing Tree Book, an early years textbook that builds these skills through engaging content.
Scholarships to Simba Preparatory School further extend these opportunities, giving children access to a quality education where they can flourish. By investing in early education, we build confidence, skills, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

Capernaum

Launched in 1996 during Zimbabwe’s HIV/AIDS crisis, the Capernaum Scholarship was created to support orphaned and vulnerable children with access to education and holistic care. It remains at the heart of our mission to uplift those most in need - offering stability, opportunity, and hope to those often left behind.

Established in 2005, the Joshua Nkomo Scholarship honours the legacy of Joshua Nqabuko Nkomo — a visionary leader and champion of social justice. It supports academically gifted young Zimbabweans who demonstrate leadership, integrity, and a commitment to national development.

Launched in 2022, this scholarship honours King Moshoeshoe I, founder of the Basotho nation and an enduring symbol of unity, wisdom, and service. It supports young Basotho students with strong academic performance and leadership potential, especially in science, engineering, and technology.
